WINNIPEG – You have to make a lot of decisions if you plan to move, including who will sell your house.

If you want to sell on your own, ComFree says it now is a licensed real estate broker.

That means homes being sold with the help of ComFree are being listed on the MLS system.

ComFree says it will allow your home to be seen by more people increasing the opportunities for it to sell.

But some traditional real estate agents say too often people think they can sell their home on their own only to end up calling them when it sits on the market too long.

Allan Asplin, an agent with Judy Lindsay Team Realty, says he gets those calls “all the time.”

“It’s apples to oranges,” said Asplin. “They are a marketing product just like if you put your house on Kijiji or in the Winnipeg Free Press, where we are a full service industry here to take care of our clients.”
