TORONTO – A flight attendant from Calgary has set the Internet on fire with a video of her dancing to the hit single “Uptown Funk” before a flight.

The video has been watched more than 1.5 million times since Caralee Savage posted it on YouTube on Monday.

“My captain introduced me saying I had a little performance for them and that I’d offer workshops in the air,” Savage said in the video’s description.

The UK’s Daily Mail described her as “a sassy brunette” who “takes in-flight entertainment to a whole new level.”

According to her Facebook account, Savage has a strong interest in dance and works for WestJet Encore.

She is a former member of Calgary-based Legacy One, a non-profit organization that uses urban arts to empower young people.

Savage is not the first flight attendant to entertain the masses.

Last April, Marty Cobb from Southwest Airlines had passengers in stitches with a hilarious safety speech that also went viral. A quick YouTube search leads to even more flight attendant hilarity.

“Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars currently sits atop Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. The song is a throwback to the funk era — something George Clinton and Kool & the Gang should certainly approve of.
