Police say a 21-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with an investigation into sexual acts performed and streamed online at public libraries in Windsor, Ont.
Windsor police say the woman is facing a charge of committing an indecent act after she turned herself in this morning.
Investigators had been seeking the woman after getting reports about raunchy sex videos circulating on online forums, and police say they received information about the suspect’s identity on
Thursday.
Police have said the videos showed a woman exposing herself and masturbating inside what appeared to be public libraries in the south-western Ontario city.
The woman was released on a promise to appear and police say their investigation is continuing.
Her identity was not immediately released.
Sgt. Matthew D’Asti said earlier this week that the woman used her own laptop computer to stream the videos and would cover herself when someone walked by.
