ECHO BAY, Ont. – An explosion has rocked a sports complex in a community east of Sault Ste. Marie, but police say no injuries have been reported.
Police say they responded to the blast at the Eco Bay sports complex around 5 a.m. this morning along with fire crews and officials from a gas company.

Police say the building sustained “major damage.”
They say the cause of the explosion is being investigated.
The office of the fire marshall has also been called in.
