TORONTO – From an awkward kiss to a lot of face touching, a “handsy” John Travolta lit the Internet on fire during the 87th Academy Awards.

Everything was awesome on the red carpet Sunday night until the 61-year-old actor got the creep-train rolling, shortly after arriving with his wife Kelly Preston.
Scarlett Johansson was posing for photographs on the red carpet when Travolta crept up and gave the unsuspecting actress a kiss on the cheek all while holding onto her waist.
The 30-year-old was unfazed by the awkward kiss, holding steady for the cameras.
Then came presentation for the award for best original song.
Frozen star Idina Menzel took to the stage to announce the nominees but not before introducing her “very dear friend Glom Gazinga” — a shot at Travolta for introducing her as Adele Dazeem at last year’s Oscars.
“I deserved that,” Travolta said, as he uncomfortably nuzzled and caressed Menzel’s face, calling her “my beautiful, my wickedly talented Idina Menzel.”
Travolta was even caught awkwardly staring at Benedict Cumberbatch, all thanks to a screenshot.
Of course, the Internet exploded with memes of Travolta’s bizarre behaviour.
