TORONTO – It has been a terribly cold February across the Midwest and Northeast United States and north of the border. So cold, in fact, towns have told tourists to go to Florida instead and kids have been hard-pressed to find a warm enough day to safely play outside.

But a breath of fresh air has blown in from the Cincinnati Zoo after video was recorded of a pair of red pandas playing in the snow like a couple of wide-eyed kids. In the video, they can be seen rolling in the white stuff, jumping at the camera and having a blast.
Tobogganing can be a ton of fun if done safely. Snowball fights, snow angels, building castles or forts…you name it. It’s all fun – and simple. All you need is snow, a bit of energy and a smile.
But instead, folks across the continent have been spending their days shovelling, salting and shovelling again.
Maybe it’s time to get outside (if it’s not too cold), have some fun, and enjoy the best part of winter before it’s gone – and we forget all over again.
After all, we can’t let a couple of furballs have all the fun, can we?
