Surveillance video captures robbery at Prince Albert store

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying several culprits involved in a robbery. Police are releasing surveillance photos after items were stolen from a store in Prince Albert, Sask. on Valentine’s Day.

An initial report said multiple suspects fled the business in the 600-block of 15th Avenue East with an undisclosed amount of items.

An employee at the store suffered significant but non-life threatening injuries. An edged weapon used by one of the perpetrators was recovered by police at the scene.

At this time, investigators are not disclosing the exact number of suspects.

Police say it is unknown whether this robbery is related to another robbery committed by multiple suspects at a business in the 2800-block of 6th Avenue East on Feb. 8.

The forensic evidence section is assisting with both investigations.
