HALIFAX – A preliminary hearing is scheduled in Kentville for Monday for two men accused of killing a homeless man in Berwick, Nova Scotia.

Daniel Wayne Surette, 26, and Kyle David Jamies Fredericks, 25, face first degree murder charges in the death of Harley Lawrence.

Lawrence’s body was found in a burnt out bus shelter in October 2013.

The 62-year-old often slept in the shelter at night.
