HALIFAX – Winter weather continues to barrage the Maritimes Tuesday morning, as the tail end of Monday’s storm continues.
Many schools and businesses are closed.
- Halifax Regional School Board is closed
- Annapolis Valley Regional School Board is closed
- Tri-County Regional School Board is closed
- South Shore Regional School Board is closed
- Strait Regional School Board is closed
- Chignecto Central School Board is closed
- Cape Breton Victoria School Board is closed
- Halifax and Dartmouth area schools in the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial are closed
- Centre scolaire de la Rive-Sud, École acadienne de Truro, and École Rose-des-Vents are closed
- Dalhousie, King’s College, Saint Mary’s, NSCAD, St. Francis Xavier, Acadia Universities will open at noon
- NSCC Metro, Pictuo, Annapolis Valley and Kingstec campuses are closed
- Berwick Family Practice opening later
- Sandy Lake Academy closed
- Halifax Christian Academy is closed
- Halifax Independent School is closed
- Dartmouth Sportsplex will open late
- Da Vinci College is closed
- Easter Seals NS will open at 10 a.m.
- LaHave and Englishtown Ferry services are suspended
- Halifax Public Libraries will open at noon
- Halifax Municipal Offices will open at 10 a.m.
- Canso Causeway is closed to high-sided vehicles.
