VANCOUVER – One of B.C.’s most beloved theme parks is up for sale.
The Enchanted Forest, located on the Trans Canada Highway between Sicamous and Revelstoke, has been listed for $2.7 million.
“There’s been over 50 replies in the last two days.”
The Enchanted Forest officially opened to the public on July 1, 1960. The first buildings were a giant mushroom and a 12 x 18 shack. But decades later, the theme park has grown into an attraction that boasts more than 85,000 visitors a year.
The site also contains the largest treehouse in B.C. and the SkyTrek Adventure Park.

“The current owner loves that place,” says Daschuk, “but he’s close to retirement.”
With attractions such as The Forest, with a Giant Stump House and the three little pigs, and the Nature Walk, Daschuk says this would be a great family business.
“It’s a very very exceptional business,” he says. “Excellent return.”
The Enchanted Forest is usually open from May to mid-October.
“The tourism of B.C. went to see the owner and had a face-to-face with him, and said this is a place we do not want to close down,” says Daschuk.
“The next person getting this place is getting a gold mine.”
