Tim Jones remembered on the 1st anniversary of his death

VANCOUVER – It has now been exactly one year since the death of Tim Jones and members of the organization he led say it’s clear he remains irreplaceable.

North Shore Rescue shared this video on YouTube today:

Jones was the heart and soul of the North Shore Rescue, who dedicated countless hours into the effort to make sure others were safe in the backcountry. His unexpected death a year ago today, while on a rescue, was a shock.

The Tim Jones Legacy Fund is meant to ensure a stable financial foundation for the organization and is now up to $251,000.

Members eventually want to get that to $6 million.
