Miller has back-to-back shutouts; Canucks beat Carolina 3-0

Another road game, another Ryan Miller shutout.

For the second time in two nights, the Vancouver Canucks goalie stopped all shots his way, making 28 saves in a 3-0 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.

It’s Miller’s 5th shutout of the season and 34th of his career.

All over Vancouver’s goals came in the second period, with Derek Dorsett scoring at 6:18, Shaw Matthias at 12:57 and Alexandre Burrows at 16:49.

The win moves Vancouver to 25-15-3 on the season, tied for second in the Pacific Division. Carolina is now 14-25-5, last in the Metropolitan Division.
