Ontario Provincial Police say a barn housing a “large number” of pigs caught fire southwest of London.
They say the barn was fully engulfed when officers arrived to help fire crews with traffic control on Friday afternoon.

The OPP said roads in the area were closed to allow fire crews to extinguish the fire.
Police say it’s likely a number of pigs have died as a result, but exact numbers are not immediately available.
Investigators say the fire is not being considered as suspicious.
