TORONTO – Toronto’s Medical Officer of Health will end the city’s Extreme Cold Weather Alert as of noon today.
Environment Canada says the weather will warm up today with a high of -4 and an overnight low of -11.

The advisory opens up additional warming centres and services for those who are most vulnerable and the homeless.
The city’s Medical Officer of Health issues the alerts when Environment Canada forecasts that overnight temperatures will reach -15 degrees Celsius or colder.
