MASCOUCHE – Two bodies found in the trunk of a car in Mascouche could be those of a missing man and woman who run a strip club in Saint-Hyacinthe, according to the Sûreté du Québec.
Local police discovered the car Friday on avenue de la Gare and alerted provincial authorities.
They believe the bodies may be that of Martin Bélair, 37, and Nancy Beaulieu, 41, who were last seen on Tuesday, January 6.
The two managed Cabaret Flamingo, an erotic club.
Bélair, the bar’s owner, was last seen at about 3 p.m. driving a white 2004 GMC Sierra truck on the South Shore.
Beaulieu was the manager.
She was last seen at a tanning salon in Granby around 6:30 p.m.
Family members had previously told police that they are worried for the pair’s safety.
The SQ is investigating and an autopsy is scheduled Monday to confirm the identities of the victims.
