WATCH: Woman missing from Penticton since Sunday morning

PENTICTON – She missed her morning flight Sunday from Penticton to Vancouver.

Now police and her family are seeking public assistance in finding Roxanne Lynn Louie.

The 26-year-old mother of a young boy hasn’t been seen or heard from since 1:00 a.m. Sunday when she left her mother-in-law’s house to meet an unknown friend.

Sgt. Rick Dellebuur says there’s no indication of foul play and investigators are following up on a few leads.

“We’re hoping for the best, that she’s somewhere with friends and perhaps partying and kind of lost track of time, or for whatever reason, has chosen not to contact her family and friends. And that happens,” says Dellebuur.

Louie is a member of the Osoyoos Indian Band who now lives in Vancouver. She was visiting family in Oliver for Christmas.

“We went tobogganing, we had fun, then she went to Penticton to visit up there. I don’t know where she could be. She’s so friendly and talks to people so easily,” says her father, Roger Hall.

He says he can’t sleep at nights with worry.

Louie is 5′ 5″ tall, 117 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Penticton RCMP.
