WATCH: Squamish homeowner posts video to catch bike theft suspects

WATCH: A Squamish family is hoping someone will recognize the thieves who made off with some of their most prized possessions. John Daly has the story.

VANCOUVER – A Squamish man is sharing security video from his home in hopes of catching three people who broke into his garage.

In the video titled ‘Squamish Bike Thieves‘, homeowner Sean Verret, states that on Dec. 29, between 5:47 a.m. and 6:12 a.m., their Honda Element was broken into. The thieves found their garage door opener and used that to open their garage.

The video shows two men entering the garage and stealing three mountain bikes. Verret states two of the men then go and steal the electronics and TV.

Verret is asking that if anyone recognizes the three men to contact Constable Waraich at Squamish RCMP at 604-892-6100 ext 5010.
