TORONTO – One Toronto theatre will host screenings of Seth Rogen’s controversial new film The Interview beginning Friday.

Carlton Cinema, located close to the intersection of Yonge Street and Carlton Street, will have four viewings daily.

The theatre is one of the few in Canada showing the movie.  It was pulled from theatres across North America two weeks ago after Sony Pictures was hacked by a group that also threatened terror attacks on places showing the film.

The White House suggested the cyber-attack was carried out by North Korea.

Sony Pictures eventually released the film Christmas Day however in some American theatres as well as on YouTube.  The film brought in more than $15 million through online viewings.
