A B.C. cat goes on an epic journey

A B.C. cat appears to have used up a few of his nine lives after an epic journey.

Clancy was a stray cat fending for himself on the streets of Penticton when he was picked up, nurtured back to health and adopted out.

On a road trip to the Yukon, he escaped and left fending for himself yet again.

There were eyewitnesses who said they saw Clancy fighting off foxes and scavenging in garbage cans, but he managed to survive for five months in Dawson City.

Eventually, Clancy showed up at the doorstep of a Dawson City motel, where a kind-hearted guest took him in and gave him food.

He was then taken to a local humane society and thanks to a microchip, he was identified and is now back in the Okanagan.

His health is improving, but Clancy needs another owner with whom he can retire and live out the rest of his nine lives with.
