MONTREAL – The notorious Montreal police officer known as “Officer 728” is now facing reduced charges against her.

Stefanie Trudeau was suspended from the police force in October 2012 as a result of an incident during the student protests in 2012.

She was filmed roughing up some men who had been drinking beer in public.

The arrest became highly publicized after the video went viral and was widely shown in the media.
