CALGARY- A vehicle stopped for a traffic infraction while driving eastbound on Highway 16 in Edson Saturday night, led to a 55-year-old man being arrested for possession of a large amount of drugs.
Police say the driver, Rede Hely Chase had an outstanding arrest warrant from Edmonton and after further investigation, they seized 9.5 lbs of marijuana, 1/4 lbs of mushrooms, 2 oz of cocaine and 1/2 an oz of Crystal Methamphetamine.

Chase, who is from Surrey, BC has been charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Chase was out on bail from his arrest on January 17, 2014, for being caught in possession of 10.5 pounds of marijuana.
