They’re considered one of the most majestic birds, and Darchan, an imperial eagle, provided just as majestic of a view of London’s Tower Bridge in a video that is making the rounds online
Posted by The Freedom Project, an eagle conservation organization, the clip highlights the perspective of the endangered bird.
Darchan’s handler Jacques Olivier Travers, a falconer and the man behind the organization is taking his winged companion to several cities to mark the 50th anniversary of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and its Red List.
The Red List reveals almost 20,000 species that are threatened with extinction. Nearly 2,000 species were added to the latest list released in 2012.
