TORONTO – A batch of Rob Ford bobbleheads will go on sale today at city hall.

A statement released Wednesday said Ford is inviting people to come to the mayor’s office during business hours to purchase the “Robbie Bobbies.”

The dolls will sell for $30 each. The money collected will go to Humber River Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital.

“Over the past 2 months, I have been fortunate to receive excellent medical care as I continue to fight my battle with cancer,” Ford said in the statement. “I would now like to help the people who have helped me.”

Ford, who will be in attendance at the bobblehead sale, was diagnosed with cancer in September and recently had to undergo a third round of chemotherapy.

“He’s in a little bit of a battle right now,” Doug Ford told reporters in city hall on Friday. “Every day is different. It’s a challenge. He’ll gather the strength to come down and see everyone.”

Ford said his brother’s tumour has not diminished in size and that he’s scheduled for a fourth round of chemotherapy next Monday.

“Good news is it hasn’t grown. We’ll see how it goes,” Ford said.
