TORONTO — Brenton Thwaites, best known for playing Prince Phillip in Maleficent, has hinted he’s bisexual.

In an interview with The Fix, the 25-year-old Australian actor was asked what he looks for in a partner.

“Male or female?,” he asked.

“Both,” the interviewer replied.

“Well,” Thwaites said, “they’re very different.”

The star then said he looks for someone with “peanut butter in their cupboard.”

The candid moment came at the end of an interview that was posted online last month but only made headlines on Thursday.

Earlier this month, One Direction singer Harry Styles made headlines when an interviewer asked he and Liam Payne what traits they look for in a woman. When Payne replied “female,” Styles said, “not that important.”

Then, after saying he looks for someone nice, Styles added: “You’re not going to go out with a d***head.”

Last year, Styles told GQ he was “pretty sure” he is not bisexual.

Thwaites, meanwhile, is getting plenty of love on social media:
