Kim Kardashian attempts to ‘Break the Internet’ with her bare bottom

TORONTO – Reality TV star Kim Kardashian set social media abuzz Wednesday with her cheeky cover for the U.S. publication Paper.

Kardashian was  photographed from the back showing off her bare behind with the message “Break the Internet Kim Kardashian” below her.

In one photo the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and wife of rapper Kanye West is wearing a black evening dress, shooting champagne into a glass balanced on her widely talked-about asset.

“For our winter issue, we gave ourselves one assignment: Break The Internet. There is no other person that we can think of who is up to the task than one Kim Kardashian West. A pop culture fascination able to generate headlines just by leaving her house, Kim is what makes the web tick,” writes Paper Magazine.

The magazine tapped famed French photographer Jean-Paul Goude to recreate his 1976 ‘Champagne Incident’ shot featuring model Carolina Beaumont.

In another photo, Kardashian is shown from the back, wearing long black gloves and pearls wrapped around her neck while removing her gown, exposing her oily backside.

Despite the nudity featured in the photo Instagram has not deleted it. The photo-sharing app has been criticized over the past few months for removing photos of naked women.

In late October, comedian Chelsea Handler posted a photo to Instagram of her imitating a topless pose of Russian President Vladimir Putin to illustrate what she called Instagram’s gender double standard when it comes to nudity. The photo was swiftly deleted.

In an email statement from Facebook, the parent company of Instagram, about it’s nudity policy a spokesperson wrote that users are warned not to share “photos or videos that show nudity or mature content.”

“If you wouldn’t show the photo or video you are thinking about uploading to a child, or your boss, or your parents, you probably shouldn’t share it on Instagram,” said Meg Sinclair, Facebook spokesperson. “Accounts found sharing nudity or mature content will be disabled and your access to Instagram may be discontinued.”

Kardashian kicked-off the social media frenzy when she took to Twitter and Instagram to write about her “talent” of balancing a champagne glass.

West also tweeted support for his wife with the simple message “#AllDay.
