Richard Atwell has beaten incumbent Frank Leonard for the mayor’s chair in Saanich, B.C.

On Saturday, Nov. 15, voters across British Columbia went to the polls in the 2014 civic elections. Polls were open in Saanich, B.C., from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Two candidates ran against Saanich Mayor Frank Leonard – Leonard was first elected as mayor in 1996.
