SASKATOON – For the second year in a row, the University of Saskatchewan Huskies men’s soccer team had the chance to earn a championship title.

On Saturday, the Huskies were up against the University of Alberta Golden Bears at PotashCorp Park in Saskatoon.

Down at halftime, Saskatchewan came back with a 4-2 victory and were crowned Canada West champions for the first time in history.

Both teams advance to the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) championship hosted by the UPEI Panthers this week.
