Police in Pennsylvania have shifted their search for the man accused of murdering a police officer, NBC News reports.
Helicopters circled overhead and police combed through the forest near Route 314 East on Saturday afternoon in search of Eric Frein.
Frein, accused of ambushing a Pennsylvania State Police barracks and killing Cpl. Bryon Dickson, has managed to evade police for several weeks.
One area resident told NBC that Frein was once on a rifle team with his granddaughter, and said the wanted man would know the local forest well.
