PARIS – France will begin screening airline passengers for Ebola on Saturday at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport.
The Paris airport authority says that medical teams will take passengers’ temperatures before they leave the air bridge to enter the terminal.

“If there is no temperature there is no risk of contagion,” Health Minister Marisol Touraine told LCI television Thursday.
There have so far been no known cases of Ebola in France.

The Paris airport authority says the controls will only concern the once-daily flight from Guinea’s capital, Conakry. There are no direct flights to Paris from other West African countries most affected by the virus.
