WINNIPEG – A Manitoba man who was reported missing on Sept. 27 was found dead on Wednesday.
Foul play is not expected, police said.
Brian Hurst, 61, of Winnipeg, was last seen leaving his home on Sept. 27 and was believed to be travelling to the Kenora area.
Hunters found his locked and undamaged 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport on Tuesday in the Gordon Lake Road area.
Ontario Provincial Police searched the area and found Hurst’s body on the shoreline of an unnamed lake at around 4 p.m. Wednesday, police said in a news release. They also thanked the public and the media for their help.
