Nicolino Camardi, who’s accused of abusing a cat and a dog in January, wants a bail review.

Last month, a Provincial Court judge refused to release the 19-year-old.

He’s been behind bars since his arrest last May.

He’s accused in the death of a Siberian husky and a cat, both found dead in a Willow Park alley in January.

He appeared in court Thursday via closed circuit television – but his identity had to be confirmed.

His own lawyer had to clarify if it was him because he has shaved, and looks dramatically different without a beard.

Bail reviews are conducted in Court of Queen’s Bench.

No date for the review has been set.
