Fuel truck crash closes Highway 59 north of Winnipeg

WINNIPEG – RCMP say Highway 59 north of Winnipeg will be closed in both directions for “several hours” while a crash is cleaned up.

A tanker hauling diesel fuel tipped over at Highway 59 and MacGregor Farm Road at about 2:45 p.m. There were no injuries, and a fuel leak was quickly contained.

But Mounties advised at 3:45 that “the road will remain closed for the next several hours.”
