But Montreal police have now confirmed there is a plan in place to allow people to access the hospital during Sunday afternoon’s football game.
Pine and Parc Avenus will be open for emergency vehicles and citizens in distress during the last five minutes of the game.

While the game is going on, those who need access and emergency vehicles can use Peel street.
Police received multiple complaints that people with urgent health conditions were not permitted to be driven through the streets that accessed the hospital because it was cordoned off.
