VANCOUVER – Two men, who could be facing extradition to the U.S. to face first-degree murder charges, appeared in a B.C. courtroom on Monday.
Kevin Patterson was arrested in Abbotsford earlier this week with his alleged accomplice just hours after Washington State Police found the victim’s body.

Police allege that Patterson and Christoper Shade fled to Canada after killing a 57-year-old businessman in Sammamish, a suburb of Seattle.
Patterson will next appear on Sept. 24 for a bail hearing.
Shade will appear on Sept. 30.
