WATCH: Video of meteorite captured by concert-goer at the Rifflandia Festival in Victoria
A fire ball that lit up the sky this weekend dazzled many people in parts of British Columbia and as far south as Washington and Oregon.
The meteor was spotted by many skywatchers around 8 p.m. on Saturday.
A video of the meteorite was captured by a concert-goer at the Rifflandia Festival in Victoria as the band Death Cab for Cutie was performing.
Some concert-goers also took to Twitter to talk about the experience.
The American Meteor Society says they were inundated with fire ball reports from across the Pacific Northwest, including from Vancouver Island, the Lower Mainland and Seattle.
