Couple found dead on rural property in Sask.

REGINA – RCMP is investigating after two people were found dead on a rural property in Saskatchewan.

Unity RCMP received a complaint from coworkers that a 56 year-old woman was missing. Wednesday night, police went to a house in the RM of Round Valley where they found 56 year-old Shirley Parkinson dead in an outbuilding on the property.

Police also found 60 year-old Donald Parkinson dead outside on the rural property.

The deceased were a married couple who were not known to police.

Investigators are currently not seeking any suspects and there is no risk to public safety.

Autopsies will be performed as the investigation continues.
