Former Habs Carol Vadnais dies at 68

MONTREAL – Former Montreal Canadiens player Carol Vadnais has lost his battle with cancer.

He was 68.

Vadnais played seventeen seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1966 to 1983.

He played as a defenceman for the Habs, the Boston Bruins, the New York Rangers and more.

Vadnais won two Stanley Cups during his career, one in 1968 with the Canadiens, the second in 1972 with the Boston Bruins.
