Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 crashed Thursday in eastern Ukraine, killing all 298 passengers on board including one Canadian.

The flight heading from Amsterdam to Kuala Lampur was reportedly shot down by a surface-to-air missile, U.S. intelligence authorities said.

Friday, emergency workers, police officers and even off-duty coal miners spread out across fields and villages in eastern Ukraine, searching the wreckage of a jetliner shot down and have recovered more than 180 bodies.
