Oshawa restaurant owners charged after hidden camera found in washroom

OSHAWA, Ont. – The owners of an Oshawa restaurant have been charged with voyeurism after police say a camera was found in the employee washroom.

Police say they began their investigation after an employee at the Danay and Kris Family Restaurant reported finding a camera hidden in a washroom ceiling tile.

The washroom is used by both men and women.

Investigators say they obtained a search warrant and seized several items, including media storage and other equipment.

Krisztian Krenner, 42, and Danay Krenner, 39, are charged with voyeurism, interception of private communication and possession of a device to intercept private communication.

They also face drug possession charges as a result of the investigation.
