Those are the birth names of rapper Lil’ Kim, rocker Jon Bon Jovi and U2 front man Bono.
Musicians and pop stars have been changing their names for decades.
Some chose completely different monikers.
Arnold George Dorsey took the name of 19th century German composer Engelbert Humperdinck; Stuart Leslie Goddard picked Adam Ant; and Canadian Roberta Joan Anderson became Joni Mitchell.
Others made minor adjustments.
Michael Bolotin simplified his surname by dropping the second “o”; Daryl Hohl altered his last name to Hall; and Morna Anne Murray dropped her first name.
