WINNIPEG – The southbound lanes of Highway 75 just south of Winnipeg were shut down for a short time Tuesday afternoon after a semi rolled over and caught fire.
It happened at about 2 p.m. at Hwy 75 and Marchand Road in the RM of Richot.
The tractor-trailer lay on its side in the ditch, with the cab of the truck scorched from the fire.
RCMP say the driver was taken to hospital in stable condition. The highway reopened later in the afternoon.
