WINNIPEG – Fogging trucks have finished spraying for mosquitoes in south Winnipeg and will move into the north quadrant of the city Monday night.
A mosquito fogging bulletin sent out by the city Monday morning says weather permitting, fogging in North and West Kildonan, the city centre, the North End, Burrows, the Maples and Garden City will start at 9:30 p.m. Monday and end at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. A full list of areas can be found below.
The Rural Municipality of West St. Paul also announced it would spray for mosquitoes on Monday night.
The average trap count for mosquitoes was 184 on Sunday, with 1,664 found in one trap at Assiniboine Park.
The City of Winnipeg insect control branch sprays malathion, pyrocide and permanone in its fogging program.

To register for a buffer zone, which means trucks won’t spray within 90 metres of your primary residence, apply:
