Seattle Seahawks bring Vince Lombardi trophy to Vancouver

WATCH ABOVE: Russell Wilson and other members of the Seattle Seahawks are making a visit to Vancouver this weekend. Aaron McArthur explains why.

The Seattle Seahawks are in town to honour their fans north of the border.

It’s estimated up to 10 per cent of the fans at any home game in Seattle are Canadian.

A number of players, including Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner, wide receiver Jermaine Kearse and linebacker Bruce Irvin, were at the UBC golf course for a tournament today.

“If feels good to come up here and give back, because we have a great fan base here,” says Irvin.

“We support them as much as they support us. The more they get to talk to us, the louder they cheer for us,” adds Wagner.
