WATCH: Raw video of tornado captured by boaters on Bear Lake
TORONTO – Environment Canada has confirmed that Ontario has received its seventh tornado of the 2014 storm season.
The tornado occurred on June 30 over Bear Lake, Ont., and later moved ashore. Several people recorded the tornado on cell phones which Environment Canada used to confirm the reports.

Due to the only damage resulting to trees, Environment Canada has rated the tornado as an EF0 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale which measures tornado strength based on damage. The estimated winds were between 90 and 130 km/h.
Each year about 17 tornadoes are reported in Ontario.
