VANCOUVER – A man is dead and four people are recovering in hospital following a head-on crash just outside Kamloops.
A pick-up truck was driving south on Highway 5 when the driver lost control and crossed the centre line. The truck smashed head-on into a northbound pick-up.

The driver of the northbound pick-up was pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP are still investigating the collision but they say alcohol is not a factor.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
