ABOVE: Toronto’s “Mummy Bandit” struck again – and this time his attack was more brazen and violent than ever before
TORONTO – Police released new images of the “mummy bandit” after he allegedly held up another Toronto bank.
Investigators released images Tuesday afternoon after a suspect robbed a west-end bank.
Police said the “mummy bandit” entered an RBC branch in the King Street and Strachan Avenue area just before 5 p.m. Monday.
Armed with a gun and a knife, the suspect demanded cash from a teller while holding a knife to the employee’s throat.
The suspect is described as white, 20 to 30 years old, standing 5’6″to 5’10”. In the latest images, the “mummy bandit” is seen wearing a large ring on his right hand.
The suspect is wanted for a slew of robberies dating back to October 2013.
