PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A critically injured woman has been hospitalized after an aggravated assault in Prince Albert, Sask. on Sunday.
At 10:19 a.m., police and paramedics were called to an assault in the 1200-block of 1st Avenue West.
A woman was found with life-threatening injuries.
Parkland Ambulance took the 47-year-old victim to Victoria Union Hospital for medical treatment.
She has since been transferred to Saskatoon’s Royal University Hospital and is in critical condition.
Prince Albert police have closed 12th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue.
The criminal investigation division and forensics have been called in to investigate.
