EDMONTON – An 18-year-old man is dead following a hit-and-run collision south of Red Deer Tuesday night.
Innisfail RCMP were called to the collision, on Highway 592 about four kilometres east of Penhold, shortly after 10:30 p.m.
RCMP say the 18-year-old was longboarding on the side of the highway with a friend when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
Officers are now looking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward. They’re also looking for any vehicle with damage to the front passenger side.
