Progressive Conseravtive leader Tim Hudak has held this riding since it was created for the 2007 election. His margin of victory has increased since his first victory from just over 1,000 in 1995 to more than 12,000 in 2011.

By the numbers

Sixty per cent of people over 15 are married here, sixth highest in southern Ontario. Twenty-seven per cent of people identify as second generation Canadians, the second highest amount in the province.
