Accomplishments:

  • Two-time gold medallist on the Summer Grand Prix circuit.
  • 2013 World Championship 34th place finish.

Interesting Fact: She landed awkwardly during a training jump in July 2013, tearing ligaments in her left knee. After surgery, she returned to competition in November.

Chances: She was not expected to land on the podium in Sochi, but unfortunately she will not even have a chance to do so as an injury will keep her out of the Olympic competition. She originally tore the ACL in her left knee last July and re-injured it in an Olympic training run in Whistler before she was scheduled to depart for Sochi.
